Healing Gardens

I consider gardening a spiritual activity and a form of therapy that’s good for whatever ails you.  Not only that, I grow as much produce as I possibly can on our small lot, and it’s important to me to know where my food comes from.

In the back there is a sculpture of recycled wood and found objects entitled Dog Mower Man, by my partner Vito Valdez.

Here are some cucumbers growing alongside perennials.

My compost is loaded with succulent worms!

I grow much of my own food from spring through early winter.
